I should be able to put the NTE251 in a circuit where there is a couple resistors, a blocking diode for noise and voltage spikes connected to the PWM pin on the arduino and ground of the motor to the transistor. I read that MOSFETS can handle more current safely at lower temps and with fewer areas of weakness.
